Trinity Episcopal School

Uniform Policy

Uniforms are required for all students attending Trinity Episcopal School.  In addition to being a convenience for both parents and students, uniforms play an important role in maintaining the proper academic atmosphere.  The Principal will enforce all uniform rules at his discretion.  Students not following the dress policy may be sent home or parents may be called to bring the student the proper clothes.

A.     Pants/Shorts

-         polyester/cotton khaki with belt loops.(no logo)(K4&K5 belts optional and looped pants are optional)

-         Girls may also wear “Trinity” plaid shorts, skirts or jumpers.

-         All shorts, shirts, and jumpers shall be worn at a modest length

-         Solid color shorts or bloomers may be worn under skirts or jumpers.

-         No white color or blue jean type pants or shorts, scorts or cargo pants.

B.     Shirts – (short or long sleeve)

-         white, red, hunter green knit with collar. (no logo)

-         White, green, or red turtleneck.

-         Girls may also wear a white Peter Pan collar.

-         Undershirts may be solid white only.

-         All shirts must be tucked in at the waist.

C.     Sweater/Sweatshirt

-         red, hunter green cardigan sweater or sweater vest over white shirt.

-         Hunter green “Trinitysweatshirt only over uniform shirt.

D.     Shoes

-         solid brown, & black loafers, Hushpuppies, bucks, work/hiking boots or low-top tennis shoes.

-         Solid red Mary Jane shoes for girls

-         Solid black, red, or white “Keds” type sneakers.  These shoes should be solid in those colors, including shoe strings.  If there is a logo, should be small.

E.      Belts

-         black, brown, khaki, hunter green or red canvas or leather belts.

-         Belts must be worn with all pants.

F.      Socks/Tights

-         white, brown, red, or dark green crew, traditional knee, or opaque tights. (no logo)

G.     Hats/Caps

-         none allowed.

H.     Jewelry

-         modest jewelry should be kept to a minimum. (no earrings for boys)

I.        Hairstyles  

-         no extreme hairstyles allowed.

-         Girls may wear modest white, red, or hunter green bows.

J.       Jackets/Coats

-         jackets and coats are not part of the uniform policy and may be worn

      as needed for outdoor use.
